Mass Oath-Taking and Donning of Ranks

A beautiful smile was painted at everyone’s face when the 106 newly Police Commissioned Officers (PCOs) and (PNCOs) from the Regional Headquarters, Lanao del Sur and Maguindanao  Police Provincial Offices took their oath of office before the Acting Regional Director PCSUPT NOEL ORAIS DELOS REYES on January 22, 2012 at the parade ground of the Police Regional Office of the Autonomous Region for Muslim Mindanao (PROARMM). 

The ceremony started with an Invocation led by the Regional Chaplain PCI ZAINALABEDIN ISMAEL followed by the Welcome Remarks of the newly installed Deputy Regional Director for Administration (DRDA), PSSUPT ROBERT KIUNISALA. “Promotion is not only accompanied by an increase of salary but coupled by bigger responsibility and challenges as well,  that requires the level of competence represented by the rank insignias on your shoulders and sleeves”, PSSUPT KIUNISALA said.

 

Meanwhile, PCSUPT NOEL ORAIS DELOS REYES, Acting Regional Director of this PRO gave an Inspirational Message wherein he lauded the promotees and demanded commitment and accountability for a better police service.  “With your rank and position, comes now, counts more responsibility for a better police service in the country but 

 

particularly in our region in the context of an improving peace and development scenario” he said.

 

“Sa atin nakasalalay ang katahimikan at tagumpay ng darating na National, Regional and Local elections on May 2013, wag natin pabayaan ang ARMM,” PCSUPT DELOS REYES added as he emphasized the critical role of the PNP in the forthcoming political exercise.

 

The program was well-attended by the families, love ones and friends of the promotees who were in high spirits when they donned the rank insignias on their shoulders and sleeves of the newly promoted police officers.

PRO ARMM Personnel Joins “Unity Walk & Prayer Rally” for SAFE 2013

 

 

The Police Commissioned, Non-Commissioned Officers, Non-Uniformed Personnel of Police Regional Office (PRO ARMM) and Police Trainees of ARMM Training School marched the streets of Poblacion 1 & 2 of the Municipality of Parang, Maguindanao to join the nationwide staging of Unity Walk and Prayer Rally for Secure and Fair Election (SAFE) 2013, yesterday January 13, 2012.

 

The program was held to instill among election stakeholders particularly the agencies deputized by the COMELEC, the Divine Intercession and drumbeat the significance of the May 13, 2013 and herald the start of the election period. 

 

The activity started by a simple program at Parang Municipal Gymnasium wherein PSSUPT SERGIO DIMANDAL, Chief of the Regional Directorial Staff (CRDS) of this PRO gave the Welcome Remarks while PSSUPT ALBERTO SUPAPO, Deputy Regional Director for Operations (DRDO) delivered an Inspirational Message. 

 

 

The Battalion Commander of 37th IB; Municipal Election Supervisor; Chairman, PPCRV-ARMM; members of the academe; students: Administrator of LGU Parang; Representatives from the Christian and Muslim Religious Sectors; Bikers and Tricycle Association of Parang have also gave their short message bearing one bottomline “we support SAFE 2013”.

 

The participants had also profess their pledge of support by signifying their signatures in a tarpaulin. After the walk around the town, all participants and stakeholders performed an “Alay Linis” at the vicinity of Parang Municipal Hall.

 

 

 

Delos Reyes Assumes Post as New RD. PROARMM

Newly installed Chief of the Philippine National Police (C, PNP) PDGEN ALAN LM PURISIMA designated PCSUPT NOEL DELOS REYES  as the new Regional Director (RD) of Police Regional Office of the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (PRO ARMM) effective January 8, 2013 replacing PCSUPT MARIO AVENIDO. 

 

The assumption of office was held on January 10, 2013 at the Commissioned Officers County (COC) Building, Camp BGen Salipada K Pendatun Parang Maguindanao and was graced by no less than the ARMM Regional Governor MUJIV HATAMAN.

DELOS REYES is a proud member of the Philippine Military Academy (PMA) SANDIGAN Class of 1982. He held various sensitive positions in the organizations since his Commission to the AFP and subsequent absorption into the PNP.

 

PCSUPT DELOS REYES laid down his plans and programs for the PRO in one single sentence “All I asked from you gentlemen is pure “Trabahong” Pulis”, as he stressed the need to follow the CODE-P Action Program of the current C, PNP in relation to the” Daang Matuwid” of the President. 

 

The program was also attended by members of the LGUs of Parang Municipality, non-government organizations, local media and members of the clergy.

 

 

 

RD PROARMM Swears in Qualified Police Applicants

Police Chief Superintendent MARIO A AVENIDO, Regional Director of Police Regional Office of the Autonomous Region for Muslim Mindanao (PROARMM)  sworn in to office One Hundred Fifty One (151) qualified applicants as newly appointed Police Officers 1 on December 3, 2012 at the Regional Headquarters Grandstand, Camp BGen Salipada K Pendatun, Parang Maguindanao.

 

PROARMM was allocated a quota of One Hundred Seventy Five (175) for the Attrition Recruitment Program Phase 2 Calendar Year 2012 but out of the 155 who filed their application folders, only 118 passed the Neuro Psychiatric (NP), Physical/Medical/Dental (PMDE), Agility and the Final Board Interview, thus it fall short of fifty seven (57) slots out of the required quota.

 

Along this line, the National Headquarters, Camp Crame sent a memorandum to all Police Regional Offices nationwide to accommodate the excess qualified applicants of other PROs to fill-up the slots. Hence, twenty one (21) from PRO 11 and twelve (12) from PRO 12 qualified applicants were realigned and were accommodated in the Oath Taking.

In his speech, RD AVENIDO expressed heartfelt gratitude to PCSUPT JOEL MA ALVAREZ, the Chairman of the Regional Screening Committee who is now assigned as the District Director of the Northern Police District in the National Capital Region.  He also extended his thanks to the members of the committee namely: Atty. Esmael Panda (Assistant Regional Director-NAPOLCOM ARMM); Prof. Maria Carmen Echavez and Mr. Fredelino Gorospe representing the Women Sector and the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG ARMM) in helping the PRO in the selection process.

 

Meanwhile, PSSUPT ALBERTO SUPAPO, the Deputy Regional Director for Operation welcomes the visitors, parents and loved ones of the applicants who filled up the PRO ARMM’s ground witnessing the Oath Taking Ceremony.

 

Attorneys Ressurecion Pueyo and Joseph Celiz of the Civil Service and National Police Commissions- ARMM were also in attendance.

 

PSSUPT PENDATUN SALILAMA, Chief of the Regional Personnel Human Resource and Doctrine Development Division (RPHRDD), turned over the newly appointed PO1s to PCI JIBIN BONGCAYAO, Regional Training Director of ARMM Training school for their six months academic and militaristic training.

PCSUPT BIENVENIDO LATAG, Regional Director of the Police Regional Office of the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (PRO-ARMM) attended the Consultative Meeting summoned by HONORABLE MUJIV HATAMAN, OIC Regional Governor of the ARMM on January 12, 2012 at 6th Infantry Division, Awang, Datu Odin Sinsuat Maguindanao.
